Description: Wel-Cote Flex Corner Tape is a quality paper tape that has a galvanized metal strip centered on the tape. It is designed for use with Wel-Cote Joint Compound to provide straight and sharp gypsum board corners prior to painting, texturing and wallpapering. Wel-Cote Flex Corner Tape is super strong both wet and dry. Wel-Cote Flex Corner Tape is ideal for cathedral or drop ceilings or around bay windows and angles that are impractical for ordinary bends with corner bead.

Application: Cut Wel-Cote Flex Corner Tape then apply Wel-Cote Joint Compound to both sides of corner. Crease tape at center margin and embed with metal strip facing the surface. Remove excess mud and let dry. Apply a finish coat of Wel-Cote Joint Compound on both sides of tape feathering into the wall. Apply the first finish coat approximately 6" wide. If needed apply a second coat 6"- 10" wide on each side of corner. When dry, sand lightly if needed.

Equipment: Wel-Cote Flex Corner Tape requires the use of snips when cutting or a knife to score and bend.

Coverage (approximate): Wel-Cote Flex Corner Tape is 2 1/16" wide. One 75 ft. roll covers 75 ft.

Caution: Apply Wel-Cote Flex Corner Tape only at the recommended temperatures of the joint cement used. Store tape in closed cartons at normal room temperature in an enclosed, dry shelter.

Welco shall not assume any responsibility, directly or indirectly, for any loss caused by application of this product not in accordance with directions. All labor costs are excluded from this warranty. Welco liability under this warranty shall in no case exceed the purchase price of the quantity of Welco product used with respect to which damages may be claimed. All claims shall be considered null and void unless submitted within 30 days from date of alleged defect.
