Description: Wel-Cote Latex Spackling Paste is an alkyd latex based material formulated for patching and repairing plaster, drywall, masonry and wood prior to painting. It can be used indoors, and outdoors if painted after application.

Surface Preparation: Surface should be clean, and free of any loose material. Remove any oil, grease or wax by cleaning with a 10 percent solution of vinegar and water. Remove any flaking paint.

Mixing: This material is ready-mixed and does not require any mixing.

Application: Apply material to damaged area with a putty knife. For deep cracks, two or more applications may be necessary to prevent cracking.

Equipment: Wel-Cote Latex spackling paste should be applied with a trowel, putty knife or any similar tool.

Finishes: Latex Spackling Paste will dry to a smooth finish. You may need to lightly sand the repaired area prior to painting in order to remove any tool marks.

Dry time: Latex Spackling Paste can be painted over immediately after application. Allow 2-4 hours of dry time if sanding.

Coverage (approximate): One quart will cover approximately 2ft² at ¼" depth.

Caution and Warning: Keep Out of Reach of Children. Do Not Take Internally. Avoid Getting in Eyes. Dust created by dry sanding may cause eye, nose, throat or upper respiratory irritation. Long term breathing of large amounts of mica or talc may cause lung disease. This product contains small amounts of naturally-occurring Crystalline Silica that has been identified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer as a Carcinogen. Limited Warranty: This product is warranted to be uniform and of the highest quality. Welco shall not assume any responsibility, directly or indirectly, for any loss caused by application of this product not in accordance with directions. All labor costs are excluded from this warranty. Welco liability under this warranty shall in no case exceed the purchase price of the quantity of Welco product used with respect to which damages may be claimed. All claims shall be considered null and void unless submitted within 30 days from date of alleged defect.
