Description: Wel-Cote Masonry and Basement Paint is designed to damp proof, seal and decorate unpainted concrete, stucco, brick, cinder block and other masonry surfaces. It can be applied either indoors or out, above or below grade.

Surface Preparation: Surface should be free of all dirt, loose material, form oil, wax, grease, old paint and efflorescence. Any holes or crack should be patched prior to application.

Mixing: This product is ready-mixed and should not require mixing, If any separation has occurred, use a rotary mixer to stir the material to an even consistency.

Application: Apply with either a masonry brush or roller. Masonry and Basement Paint can also be applied with spray equipment. For best results, apply the first coat with a stiff-bristled brush, making sure that you work the material into the pores of the surface. Apply a second coat 24 hours after the first coat.

Equipment: Wel-Cote Masonry and Basement Paint can be applied with either a masonry brush or roller. Spray equipment designed for aggregated material can also be used. Make sure to thoroughly clean all equipment with water after use.

Finishes: Decorative effects can be created with Masonry and Basement Paint by using any common texturing tools. Masonry and Basement Paint can be tinted with standard paint tints. Masonry and Basement Paint can be painted over after 24 hours.

Dry time: Allow 24 hours of dry time between applications, and before painting.

Coverage (approximate): Approximately 75ft² per gallon on rough surfaces, and up to 125ft² per gallon on smooth surfaces.

Caution: This product contains Portland cement. Do not thin product with water. Use only clean mineral spirits or other appropriate anhydrous solvent. In case of contact with eyes, flood eyes with water and seek immediate medical attention.

Limited Warranty: This product is warranted to be uniform and of the highest quality. Welco shall not assume any responsibility, directly or indirectly, for any loss caused by application of this product not in accordance with directions. All labor costs are excluded from this warranty. Welco liability under this warranty shall in no case exceed the purchase price of the quantity of Welco product used with respect to which damages may be claimed. All claims shall be considered null and void unless submitted within 30 days from date of alleged defect.
