Description: Wel-Cote Patching Plaster is a white, lime-free, non-shrinking patching compound. It is used for fast, low cost repairs of interior plaster and drywall surfaces. Its unique formulation produces a plaster that is easily worked. It trowels smoothly without pulling away from patched areas, and leaves a patch of maximum strength, long life, and hardness. Surface Preparation: Surface to be repaired should be free of all dirt and loose material. Mixing: Mix only as much material as can be used in 30 minutes. Mix 1 part of water to two parts of powder. Use cool water, and mix to a smooth consistency. Application: Apply Patching plaster with a trowel or putty knife to the area to be repaired. Smooth surface to reduce sanding. Equipment: Wel-Cote Patching Plaster can be applied with a trowel or putty knife. Finishes: Patching Plaster can be finished smooth or textured to match the surrounding wall surface. Dry time: Allow 1 hour of dry time before sanding or painting. Deep repairs may require additional dry time. Coverage (approximate): 1 pound of Patching Plaster will cover 1ft² at 1/8" depth.
