Description: Wel-Cote Plaster of Paris is a general-purpose plaster material used for producing molds, sculptured figures and forms. It can also be used to patch and repair plaster surfaces.

Surface Preparation: If patching, surface should be clean and free of all loose material. For molding, a dry mold release agent should be applied to the mold prior to poring plaster into mold.

Mixing: Mix one part of water with two parts of Plaster of Paris. Too much water will cause cracking. Mix material slightly thicker for patching and repair. Mix material slightly thinner for molding applications. Use only clean water and containers when mixing.

Application: Apply mixture to ar4ea to be patched with either a putty knife or trowel. For molding, pour material into open mold.

Equipment: Plaster of Paris can be applied with either a putty knife or trowel.

Finishes: Plaster of Paris can be troweled smooth or textured to create the desired look. You can sand, file, machine and paint molded items.

Dry time: Allow 15-30 minutes for material to set. Allow 24 hours of dry time before painting or decorating.

Coverage (approximate): One pound of Plaster of Paris will fill a 2"x2"x2" cavity.

Caution: In case of contact with eyes, flush with water and seek medical attention if redness and swelling persists. Do not use as a body cast, as severe burns may result due to the heat generated the material sets.

Limited Warranty: This product is warranted to be uniform and of the highest quality. Welco shall not assume any responsibility, directly or indirectly, for any loss caused by application of this product not in accordance with directions. All labor costs are excluded from this warranty. Welco liability under this warranty shall in no case exceed the purchase price of the quantity of Welco product used with respect to which damages may be claimed. All claims shall be considered null and void unless submitted within 30 days from date of alleged defect.
