Description: Wel-Cote Rockhard is a professional floor underlayment. Rockhard pours on and is easily trowled. It dries extremely hard with minimal shrinkage, and can be walked on in one hour. Surface Preparation: Surface to be filled should be clean and free of all loose material, paint, oil, grease. wax or other surface impurities. Mixing: For regular use, mix contents of a 25lb. bag into 9 ounces of clean water, stirring slowly until thoroughly mixed and lump-free. For deep fills, mix Rockhard with an equal amount, by volume, of clean, sharp sand. Use only 4.5 pints of water/25lb. bag. For extremely thin fills and feather edging, mix 4.5 pints of water with 4.5 pints if liquid Latex Bond per 25lb. bag. Application: Apply material with a trowel or float depending on the size of the fill. Do not mix more material than can be use in 30 minutes. Equipment: Wel-Cote Rockhard can be applied with a putty knife, trowel, screed or float depending on the size of the area being filled. Finishes: Rockhard should be finished to a smooth surface in order to provide a good foundation for the floor covering being applied. Dry time: Allow one hour before walking on material, allow 24 hours before covering. Coverage (approximate): A 25lb. bag will cover 15 ft² at ¼" depth. Welco shall not assume any responsibility, directly or indirectly, for any loss caused by application of this product not in accordance with directions. All labor costs are excluded from this warranty. Welco liability under this warranty shall in no case exceed the purchase price of the quantity of Welco product used with respect to which damages may be claimed.
