Description: Wel-Cote Tile Grout Powder is an unsanded, white Portland cement based material used for filling grout lines in ceramic tile applications.

Surface Preparation: Grout lines should be clean before application. Dampen grout lines with a sponge prior to application for increased adhesion. After application of tile, allow 24-48 hours of dry time for the ceramic tile adhesive to dry. If grout is applied too quickly after setting tile, pinholes will form in the grout.

Mixing: Mix 2 parts of water to 1 part grout. Thoroughly mix material prior to application. Mix only with clean water in a clean container. Residue from set material will result in decreased set time.

Application: Apply Tile Grout diagonally across the grout lines making sure to completely fill the void. After the grout has started to set, 15-30 minutes, wipe of excess grout with a sponge. Buff tile with a soft cloth after material has dried to a haze.

Equipment: Apply Tile Grout with a stiff rubber float or squeegee designed for the application of grout. Use a stiff sponge to wipe off excess grout.

Finishes: Tile Grout should completely fill the space between the tiles. Fill the void only to the point where the side of the tile is covered. Do not over fill the joint, as Tile Grout may break loose from the surface of glazed tiles.

Dry time: Allow 24-48 hours of dry time before applying a quality grout sealer.

Coverage (approximate): One pound of Tile Grout will cover 15 ft² of ceramic tile.

Caution: In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention if redness or swelling persists. Wash hands after handling, and before eating.

Welco shall not assume any responsibility, directly or indirectly, for any loss caused by application of this product not in accordance with directions. All labor costs are excluded from this warranty. Welco liability under this warranty shall in no case exceed the purchase price of the quantity of Welco product used with respect to which damages may be claimed. All claims shall be considered null and void unless submitted within 30 days from date of alleged defect.
