Description: Wel-Cote Water Putty is a specially formulated plastic powder material formulated for patching, repairing and molding. It can be used to patch and repair wood furniture and trim, plaster, cement and many other floor and wall materials. It is also great for molding and casting.

Surface Preparation: Make sure that the surface to be repaired is clean, firm and free of all dirt, oil, grease and loose material.

Mixing: Mix 3 parts of powder to 1 part of water. Pour clean water into a clean container and slowly add Water Putty while stirring. Do not mix more than can be used in 15-20 minutes.

Application: Water Putty and surface to be repaired should be 50° F or warmer. Press material into void until slightly overfilled. If making repairs deeper than ¼", it is advisable to make 2 or more applications until void is filled.

Equipment: Water Putty can be applied with a putty knife or trowel.

Finishes: When Water Putty has taken a firm set, about 20 minutes after mixing, the surface can leveled to the surrounding area by scraping with a sharp putty knife or blade.

Dry time: Water Putty will set in 15-20 minutes. Allow 8-12 hours before sanding or painting.

Coverage (approximate): One pound of Water Putty will fill 100 in² at ¼" depth.

Caution: In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention if redness or swelling persists. Wash hands after handling, and before eating.

Limited Warranty: This product is warranted to be uniform and of the highest quality. Welco shall not assume any responsibility, directly or indirectly, for any loss caused by application of this product not in accordance with directions. All labor costs are excluded from this warranty. Welco liability under this warranty shall in no case exceed the purchase price of the quantity of Welco product used with respect to which damages may be claimed. All claims shall be considered null and void unless submitted within 30 days from date of alleged defect.
