Description: Wel-Cote Whiting is a fine grade calcium carbonate powder used for thickening paint and

putty. It can also be used as a polishing compound for glass, porcelain, silver and brass.

Surface Preparation: Prepare surface according to paint manufacturers recommendations.

Mixing: Mix Whiting with paint until the desired consistency is reached. Mix with water to forma paste for polishing.

Equipment: Use a brush or roller for paint application. Use a soft cloth for polishing.

Finishes: Paint thickened with Whiting can be textured for a more dramatic effect.

Dry time: Refer to paint manufacturers specifications.

Usage (approximate): One pound of whiting will treat one gallon of standard paint. Usage will vary depending on desired thickness.

Caution: In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention if redness or swelling persists. Wash hands after handling, and before eating.

Welco shall not assume any responsibility, directly or indirectly, for any loss caused by application of this product not in accordance with directions. All labor costs are excluded from this warranty. Welco liability under this warranty shall in no case exceed the purchase price of the quantity of Welco product used with respect to which damages may be claimed. All claims shall be considered null and void unless submitted within 30 days from date of alleged defect.
