Description: Wel-Cote Anchoring Cement is a multi-purpose cement for permanently anchoring and patching--stronger than concrete with high compression strength. May also be used as grout for leveling machinery. Quick setting and non-shrinking.

Uses: For setting anchor bolts, railings, metal posts, metal rods and fixtures in concrete. Excellent for difficult patching.

Surface Preparation: Anchoring: Drill hole ½ inch wider on each side of object to be anchored. Clean the hold of dust and loose material. Wet hole surfaces thoroughly, but leave no standing water.

Patching: Clean hole or crack to be patched, remove all dirt and loose material. Wet thoroughly, but leave no standing water.

Mixing: Anchoring: Mix Wel-Cote Anchoring Cement with water in a clean container to a "heavy batter", pourable consistency (not watery). Use about 1¾ lbs. water to 6-lbs. cement, or 7 oz. Water to 1½ lbs. cement. Let stand 5 minutes, and stir again. For anchoring in vertical walls mix cement to a heavy plastic consistency using about 1 3/8 lbs. water to a 6-lb. package, or 5½ oz. Water to 1½ lb. package of cement.

Floor Patching: Mix Wel-cote Anchoring Cement in a clean container to a heavy, pourable (not watery) consistency. Use 1¾ lbs. of water to 6 lbs. package of cement, or 7 oz. Water to 1½ lbs. cement. Let stand 5 minutes and stir.

Wall Patching and Smoothing Wall or Floor Areas: Mix Wel-cote Anchoring Cement with water in a clean container to a heavy plastic consistency. Use 1 3/8 lb. water to a 6 lb. package of cement or 5½ oz. Water to a 1½ lb. package of cement

Application: Anchoring: A washer on the anchor bolt, or an enlargement on other anchor objects at the bottom of the hole will give added strength. Place object to be anchored in hole in correct position and pour into drilled hole, moving anchors to eliminate any air pockets. Pour at an even flow. For exterior setting, cement should be domed up around rod or bolt at least ¼ inch above concrete level. For anchoring in vertical walls, force cement around object with a putty knife or suitable tool.

Floor Patching: Pour material into hole, and smooth with trowel.

Wall Patching and Smoothing Wall or Floor Areas: Use a minimum fill thickness of 1 inch. Apply and smooth with a putty knife, broad knife or trowel.

Dry time: Allow 15 minutes set-up time. Dries hard in 90 minutes
